1. Do you travel?

Yes, absolutely! Travel within the Greater Sudbury Area is included in every session package. Beyond that, a reasonable travel fee will be added to cover the extra time and distance. Just let me know where you're dreaming of shooting!

2. What skin retouching is included?

The amount of detailed editing depends on your package! My Creative Portraits and Branding sessions include premium retouching, where I softly enhance skin and remove temporary items like blemishes, pimples, or bruises. Please note that I do not reshape or alter the body in any way. If you'd like detailed retouching on photos from other sessions (Family, Couples, etc.), I can happily provide it, but a small fee may apply depending on the time involved.

3. can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes, absolutely! Please do! I highly encourage you to send me any images, poses, or mood boards you love before our session. This helps me understand your specific vision, style preferences, and comfort level, allowing me to tailor the photoshoot to you. While I won't exactly recreate the images (due to lighting, location, time, creativity), I promise to use your requests as inspiration and will work hard to capture those specific moments you're dreaming of!

4. Can I purchase additional images?

Yes, absolutely! Every package includes the option to purchase additional retouched, high-resolution digital images beyond the number listed in your session.

5. how many photos will i get to see?

You'll typically receive a proofing gallery with around 100-120 images for selection, though this number can vary depending on the session type and duration. I meticulously cull every shoot, removing duplicates, blurry images, and any shots where someone blinked! This ensures you only see the best of the best, making your final selection process much easier (and more fun!).

6. will I get the raw photos?

I do not release unedited or raw files. My delivered images represent my complete artistic process, which includes culling and professional editing.

7. do you have recommended makeup artists and hair stylists?

Absolutely! Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with many incredibly talented hair and makeup artists who truly understand how to make a look translate beautifully on camera. I'm more than happy to provide you with a tailored recommendation and their contact information as we finalize the planning details for your session!

8. What should I wear, and do you help with styling?

Yes! Knowing what to wear is the biggest hurdle, but I'm here to help you clear it. Once your session is secured, I am fully available to consult with you on wardrobe, colors, and overall look. Whether you need a second opinion on a specific outfit or want to discuss the best colors for your chosen location, just ask!

9. When is payment due, and what forms do you accept?

I accept payments via E-Transfer or cash. To officially secure your date, a 50% non-refundable retainer is due upon booking. The remaining balance is then due any time before the photoshoot takes place.

10. what happens if the weather is bad?

If you have an outdoor photoshoot booked and the weather is severe (heavy rain, dangerous conditions, or extreme cold), we will reschedule your session at no cost to the next mutually agreeable date. If you have a destination photoshoot and we have already travelled to the location, we will work together to figure something out!

11. What is your rescheduling or cancelation policy?

I completely get it - life happens, and sometimes rescheduling is necessary! I promise to work with you to find a new date that works for both of us. To secure your appointment, all bookings require a 50% non-refundable retainer. If you need to reschedule, I require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for your retainer to be applied to a new date. If you cancel the session entirely, the 50% retainer is forfeited. Any request to reschedule or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice is also treated as a cancellation, and the 50% retainer is forfeited. Please note that any pre-payments, including travel fees, are also non-refundable.

12. What rights do I have to the photos included in my package?

  • For Personal Sessions: Your photos come with a Print Release and Personal Use License. This means you can print them anywhere, display them in your home, share them with friends and family, and post them on your personal social media accounts.
  • For Business Sessions (Branding): You receive a Standard Commercial Use License that allows you to use the images for business marketing - including your website, social media, and small-scale promotional prints (like brochures or business cards).
